About Us

Forgetmenot Whippets is devoted to the breeding and preservation of exceptional Whippets by Joanne Boudreault and her husband, Eric Vavassori. We have loved and exhibited Whippets and Beaucerons since 1989, and have been carefully breeding them since 1997. Together, we bring more than 50 years of combined experience in pedigreed dog breeding, guided by deep respect for the breeds and their heritage.

We are located in Trappe, Maryland, where our dogs are raised in a calm, attentive environment that allows them to develop both physically and emotionally to their full potential.

Our breeding program places particular emphasis on sound temperament, elegance, and overall quality. We strive to produce Whippets whose gentle nature, sensitivity, and quiet devotion leave a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to share their lives. Over the years, many families have told us that their Forgetmenot Whippet profoundly enriched their lives. We often think of our puppies as little angels, placed carefully into homes where they will bring lasting joy and companionship.

All dogs in our breeding program undergo comprehensive health testing. We stand behind every puppy we produce and offer lifetime support to each family, regardless of the dog’s age. Our commitment extends far beyond the moment a puppy leaves our care—it is a lifelong responsibility and privilege.
