March 14 th 2008: "Ketil" (Pol. Ch. Tylko Ty Viking's Pride) was shown at the Louisville KY Kennel Club under respected sighthound judge Mr. Bo Bengtson and was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for a 5 point major!!! (entry of 65 whippets)
February 9th 2008: "Ketil" (Pol. Ch. Tylko Ty Viking's Pride) is awarded WD for a 4 points major at the Indianapolis, IN show under Joan Urban!!! Way to go Ketil!
Jan 16th 2008: Our handsome Polish visitor "Ketil" (Pol. Ch. Tylko Ty Viking's Pride) arrives safely at the Toronto Airport accompanied by his very nice breeder/co-owner Justyna Szopa!!! We are just delighted to have them both at our home. This is the beginning of a great friendship. HUGE thank you to his owner Anna Skowronska, for entrusting Ketil with us for the next few months. Dec 31st 2007: Our handsome Marlon (Fin.Ch. Forgetmenot Flying Star) finished 3rd best whippet male in Finland in 2007!!!! Marlon has also few promising litters on the ground. We are very proud of him.
Oct 26th 2007: Our handsome Zeke is now Can Ch. Forgetmenot Guardian Angel! He finished in Grand style winning WD/BOW and Best Puppy in Group (judge Everett Dean) as well as BOB (from the classes) & Best Puppy in Group at the All Hound Specialty under respected judge Joan Frailey! Zeke was expertly handled by Jodi Allward.
Oct 13-14th 2007: Eight months old littermates Zeke (F. Guardian Angel) & Gaia (F. Glamore) win BIG at the Great Lakes Whippet Club Specialty under breeder-judge Dave Markus!!! Zeke was awarded WD/ BOW and BOS, while Zeke's sister Gaia was WB!!! On the Saturday, under Pat Trotter, Zeke was awarded the same (WD/BOW/BOS)!!! Thank you to all for nice comments on these babies!
Aug 31st - Sept 1st - 2nd - 3rd 2007: Our beautiful Gaby "Can Ch. Forgetmenot Gabrielle's Beauty" won Best of winners & Best Puppy in Group on the Friday, Best of Breed & Best Puppy in Show on the Saturday, Best of Breed & Hound group 3rd on Sunday and Best of Breed and hound group 4th on Monday!!!!! Gaby is now Canadian champion!! Thank you to co-owner Jodi Allward for doing such a beautiful job handling Gaby to those wins!!! Judges were Skip Stanbridge, Robert & Jane Forsyth & Chris Neilson!
Aug 30 2007: Our beautiful little black boy "Austin", or Taraly Cannot Forget Me, arrived from his homeland (France) to our home in Canada. Thank you to his breeder Ms Tamara Howarth, Taraly Kennel for letting us own this very typey little black beauty. He is pictured below at 4 months of age (Aug 29th) with his mom Spicy. May 2007: Zeus makes his way to a BOB at the Macon KC (pictured below). Thank you Charles for doing such a beautiful job handling him!!!
Flash! June 3rd 2007. Maya (Ch. Willabe Forgetmenot I Matter) finishes her Canadian championship in GRAND style! She goes from winning WB, BOW, BOB all the way to a very competitive hound group (typical of South Central Ontario) where she wins Hound Group 1st!!!!!! Thank you to Anstralian judge Ms. Sandra Mashford!!! It was an amazing experience. We cannot be more proud of our little girl... She made lots of heads turn with her curves and her flawless, powerful reach and drive.
